We are proud to support the Community Pet Pantry Program

Peepers Pet Watch is a proud supporter of the Community Pet Pantry Program. The Pet Pantry was established by Lee County Domestic Animal Services to temporarily assist pet owners in financial crisis to keep beloved pets in loving, responsible homes rather than surrendered to overcrowded shelters.

The Community Pet Pantry Program provides complimentary pet food and supplies for Lee County residents.

The biggest need is for cat food (dry or canned). Dog food is also accepted (canned or dry). Leave your food donation for Peepers Pet Watch to pick up on your next scheduled visit. Weʼll deliver it to Animal Services for you, saving you the time and gas to drop off donations, and weʼll deduct $1 from your next visit.

Lee County Domestic Animal Services has additional needs as follows, and Peepers will also accept your donation of these items:

  • 13- and 55-gallon trash bags
  • Towels, blankets, comforters, pillowcases, sheets
  • Clorox Wipes
  • Toilet tissue
  • Kleenex
  • Paper towels
  • Bleach
  • Dawn dish detergent
  • Airwick Lavender-Scented Oil Refills (cat rooms)

* Please note that although dog food is always needed, the organization has a greater need for cat food to stock their Community Pet Pantry for pet owners receiving public assistance.
