About

I am Karen Sloan, owner and operator of Peepers Pet Watch, LLC. My husband, David, and I are currently “Mom and Dad” to Charlotte, our miniature schnauzer, and Tank, our pug. I have been pet-sitting for friends and family since I was in high school. It finally became clear to me that this was something I wanted to do on a full-time basis. I have a love for animals and the work I do, plus the business savvy to ensure that Peepers Pet Watch is here for the long haul and will be around as long as you need us.

Here are some things you may like to know about me:

• Resident of Fort Myers Beach since 1989
• San Carlos Island homeowner since 1994
• Life-long pet owner (dogs, cats, fish, turtles, small birds and gerbils!)
• Red Cross Pet First Aid certified
• Organizer for the Lee County Pug Meetup group for 4+ years
• Founder of the annual Lee County PugFest and coordinator for the event for 5 years
